Participation in the annual conference for family doctors and pediatricians "Problems and perspectives of family medicine in Ukraine"

It was a significant event in the field of pediatrics in October 26-27 in Kyiv: an annual conference for family doctors and pediatricians "Problems and perspectives of family medicine in Ukraine".

The conference was held with the support of P.L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Department of Family Medicine.

The event was two days and during this period the conference was attended about 600 doctors from all over Ukraine, as well as representatives of many pharmaceutical companies.

Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education) made a report on the problem of cough "Cough in children and adolescents: rational approaches to treatment" and the effectiveness of using Arida Dry cough mixture.

In her report, Galina Vladimirovna referred to problem of low immunization in Ukraine, focused on Ukraine is the last in the world (after Africa) in the level of  "collective immunity".

The speaker drew attention to the fact that if European countries can wait 2-3 days after the starting of diseases (acute respiratory viral infection or other virus infections) followed by a cough and not to prescribe mucolytics or expectorants then in Ukraine, we cannot allow it and begin to prescribe treatment immediately after the starting of the disease.
