Liniment consists of three components: tar, xeroform and castor oil. Tar restores tissue blood supply by stimulating nerve-endings presented in skin. Xeroform perfectly dries a wound. And oil softens skin providing deep penetration of a medicine. It is used for treatment of inflammatory and purulent processes.
