ATC GROUPS: M01 ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTIRHEUMATIC AGENTS

Chondroprotective, chondrostimulating, regenerating, anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic medicinal product. Chondroitin sulphate participates in formation of the main substance of cartilaginous and bone tissues. It improves phosphoric and calcium exchange in the cartilaginous tissue, inhibits enzymes, which destroy structure and function of the articular cartilage, slows down the cartilaginous tissue degeneration processes. It stimulates glycosaminoglycan synthesis, normalizes hyaline tissue metabolism, favours regeneration of cartilaginous surfaces and joint capsule. It prevents connective tissue compression, increases production of joint liquid, enhances mobility of affected joints. It slows down bone resorption, decreases calcium loss and accelerates bone tissue repair processes, as well as it restrains osteoarthrosis progression.
